The Morninglord is depicted in one of two ways.

The first is as a luminous sylvan humanoid, similar to an elf. Although his body is formed of soft, glowing light, his face is often smeared with blood, which his followers say is a sign that even the greatest good may hold some evil stain, and that even the most depraved evil may contain a spark of goodness.

The second is as a golden armored knight, shining brightly. The gold shows his purity, and how he reflects and amplifies the light around him, lifting those near him upwards towards his glory.

His worshippers believe that no matter how dark the night, the dawn will come and that the Morninglord will one day return to lead the world into daylight.

He is the counterpart to Mother Night.
